We've all been there
You've got things to do!
Stalls to pick, fences to fix, troughs to fill. You put your hose in the bucket, walk to the hydrant to turn on the water and you come back to a flooded stall!!!
High water pressure is great, but it can get messy when the hose isn't secure.
Years of frustration makes a person get creative
Who hasn't tried jerry-rigging various contraptions to keep their hoses in place?
My attempted solutions include:
- Coiling half the hose in the bucket and pray it stays.
- Using wires and clips on the edge of the bucket, but the hose always wins.
- Find a big rock to put on the end of the hose at the bottom of the bucket. This works great till you crack your bucket.
- Ask your husband to build you a weird attachment that diverts water, doesn't reduce flow, and is small enough to move from bucket to bucket. EUREKA!
